Welcome to Sal Royd Villa

Sal Royd Villa is a small privately owned residential care home for the elderly. It was established in 1987 by Mr and Mrs Ellwood. The home is managed by their daughter, Joanne Seymour, who holds the Registered Manager’s award (NVQ Level 4).

The Villa was formerly two Edwardian houses and was transformed by the present owners as a care home for the elderly in 1987. The home started off as a 6 bedroomed care home but soon grew to 16 bedrooms due to the increasing popularity of the home.

We are registered with the Care Quality Commission as a care facility for a maximum of 16 elderly dependant people in need of personal care and dementia care.
